Cajun Cafes Bourbon Chicken

I love bourbon chicken! Honestly, I've never heard of the Cajun Cafe, but they must have some really good chicken. Probably served over some rice or mashed potatoes. Me, I'm gonna go with the rice and maybe some green onions on top. Read more .just cuz I like green onions...Prep time does not include marinating time. :) See less
Ingredients
- 1 Pound chicken leg or thigh meat shopping list
- Cut in bite size chunks shopping list
- 4 oz soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. powdered ginger shopping list
- 2 tbs. Dried minced onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup Jim Beam bourbon whiskey shopping list
- 2 tbs. white wine shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the marinade ingredients and pour over chicken pieces in a bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate (stirring often) for several hours (best overnight).
- Bake chicken at 350 for one hour in a single layer, basting every
- 10 minutes. Remove chicken. Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits into a frying pan.
- Heat, and add 2 Tbs. white wine. Stir and add chicken.
- Cook for 1 minute and serve.

Ang... my hubby and I eat this at our mall... they serve it at the food court... and its so good.... Cant wait to try your version of it... Sounds delicious..
