This recipe has always been served at an annual little country church dinner. People come from miles around to attend, so they can have some of this delicious chicken spaghetti. It is a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
  • 1 hen, OR 2 fryers, OR 6-8 chicken breasts, cooked, meat cut into bite sized pieces (reserve broth)
  • 3 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth (may use canned chicken broth)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 pound grated Cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. In pan, saute' celery, onion, and bell pepper in butter until tender
  2. Add mushroom soup and tomato soup, chicken broth, chili powder, Tabasco, and salt and pepper
  3. In *large* bowl mix the above with cooked chicken pieces and spaghetti
  4. Pour into a larged greased casserole dish or pan
  5. Sprinkle with grated cheese
  6. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly
  7. This is a crowd favorite
