Easy to make hamburger "steaks" smothered in gravy and onions. serve with rice or potatoes, a great way to dress up a pound of ground beef—and you probably have all the ingredients on hand!

I did not have any onion powder, so I just doubled the garlic powder and would have doubled the worchestershire sauce too. I believe that next time I will.

I hate to be a fuss-budget, but in the ingredient listing, there is no egg listed! I cannot believe that I have lived this long and have never tasted "hamburger steaks" before! I definitely will make these again!

David,
I did inadvertantly leave out the egg. Thank you for pointing it out. It will be corrected today.
and thanks for the nice comment, glad you enjoyed this recipe. As to your alterations, they sound good. That's the nice thing about cooking, you just have to make a minor change to a recipe, and it becomes your own creation.
