Pig Burgers as served at The Townsend Market in Townsend, TN. A little market with a grill, in a tiny town in the foothills of the Smoky Mtns. Serve with slaw and fries.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lb hamburger
- .5 lb sausage
- hot sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- sage
- season salt
- pepper
- 1 med onion, sliced
- 1 T butter
- Barbeque Sauce
Directions
- Thoroughly mix together first 7 ingredients and form into 1/2 lb patties.
- Grill until golden brown.
- Saute sliced onions in butter
- Serve with sauteed onions and generous amount of your favorite BBQ sauce on bun.

I just love Townsend. They have a little park there that is made especially for people in wheelchairs,it is called The Special People's Park. WE always stop there to have a picnic when we go to the Smokies.
