Easy quick stacked Italian hero with pesto, italian cold cuts, red peppers , and provolone cheese sure to please the pickiest pallete from Dallas Morning News food editor Tina Danze.
Ingredients
- Italian baguette shopping list
- bottled Alessi olive paté (or olive pesto) shopping list
- layer of bottled roasted red bell peppers shopping list
- layers of sliced salami, mortadella, ham and provolone cheese. shopping list
- mayonnaise shopping list
How to make it
- EVANS CAGLAGE/DMN
- Italian stuffed baguette Spread bottom half of a split baguette with bottled Alessi olive paté (or olive pesto).
- Add a layer of bottled roasted red bell peppers.
- Top with generous layers of sliced salami, mortadella, ham and provolone cheese.
- Spread the top half of the baguette with mayonnaise, and place firmly over bottom half.
- Slice into manageable squares or rectangles.
