Ingredients

How to make it

  • Filling:combine together in a bowl but only using 1/2 the bacon
  • Dough: combine flour,eggs,& salt.
  • Add h2o little @ a time-just until moistened & workable & holds together
  • knead for a few minutes
  • cut dough in half
  • roll one half out to 1/4 " thickness
  • cut dough into 4" circles
  • for each perogie place a Tbsp.of filling in center of dough
  • fold over to form a 1/2 moon
  • crimp edges together w/ fork tines
  • reap w/ other half of the dough
  • Boil a pot of water
  • when the water is boiling add 1tbsp salt
  • add perogies
  • cook 5-7 min.( they will float when done)
  • in a frying pan saute' onions in some of the reserved bacon drippings
  • add perogies and fry to desired texturee (I like them a bit crunchy on the outside!)
  • serve with sour cream-add the rest of the bacon as garnish
  • ENJOY!!!
