Snake Alley Noodles Recipe
This dish reminds my friend of a steamed pork dumpling. I find it comforting and easy to put together. Let me know if you feel the same :>)

I do like dumplings...I have to try this!

This sounds really good! The name alone will make it a winner with the kiddos!

This is very good, it got lots of complements from my dinner companions, it was very easy to make, and the leftovers were scrumptious!

The name enticed me to look. Sounds good for company. Thanks

Yum, what a great dish. Picky eater one and picky eater two really enjoyed this for our supper. A great addition to the weeknight fare. Came together very quickly and quite delicious.

Had this tonight.. added some left over meat instead of the pork, the rest I followed.. It was excellent... I might have to try it with the additions of the wine and bok choy and muchrooms... Yummy

Haha ! the name drew me in ...mmm this sounds great to eat too !

Definitly will make my adventurous little boy smile.

Yum! :)

But where did the name "Snake Alley" come from? ;)

I made this for dinner tonight and my family liked it, including several kids aged 7 and under :)

I did make a couple of small changes (to add some more dumpling ingredients, since you mentioned dumplings) ... I added some sliced bok choy and shredded carrot to the pork as it cooked. Also, I didn't have green onions so I added chopped yellow onion as the meat cooked (which was fine although it would have been better with the green onion, I'm sure).

Sounds very good! I don't understand the dumpling connection, but that's just me.
The alterations sound good, too.
Thanks for the post.

Still just as good as the first time we tried it. Took a bunch for lunch and it made my co-workers drool.

Next time, I'm tempted to make it with rice noodles and replace some of the water with rice wine (I'm not cooking for kids). I'm also going to try adding veggies.

I made it again last night. I followed your suggestion and added on whole head of shredded bok choy, upped the green onion by about 1/4 cup and used one full package of bean sprouts. I added more garlic and a tad more crushed red pepper to flavor the veggies. It was wonderful and the family just raved over it. Thanks again.
