Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat Butter and oil in a wide pan.
  • Quickly fry chicken breasts until brown, turning once.
  • Remove and keep hot.
  • Add shallots to the pan and saute gently until softened and lightly browned.
  • Return the chicken breasts to pan.
  • Add broth and vinegar, bring to a boil.
  • Cover and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving dish.
  • Add the grapes, cream and nutmeg to the pan. Heat through, season to taste and thicken with a little bit of cornstarch if desired.
  • Serve chicken with the sauce.

    I know I've eaten this before - I can't remember where - but I recall it was DELISH! Thanks for sharing the recipe, chihuahua...I hope to give it a whirl soon (I love meat and fruit - something about that whole sweet and savory combo that I can't resist!).
