The Chive Blossom Wine Vinegar

- Clean Glass Jar with Glass top or cork shopping list
- chive Blossoms shopping list
- white vinegar shopping list
- white wine 1-2 cups shopping list
- Optional: Adding additional spices i.e. herbs De Provence (see my recipes) shopping list
- Decorative Bottle: wine Bottle with cork shopping list
How to make it
- Fill a clean glass jar half full of mature chive blossoms which have not started to fade.
- Fill the jar with white distilled vinegar, covering all the blossoms.
- pour in white vinegar to about 2/3 full, then add the wine up to 2 inches from the top.
- Cap with a non-metal lid and set in the sun for 1 to 3 weeks,until the vinegar turns vivid pink.
- Strain the liquid and dilute with more vinegar if too strong.
- Decant into decorative bottles.

I know if you grow chives in your backyard in the Summer they will grow flowers. You can try a Farmer's Market too! This is a super idea Noir!
