Easy Homemade French Bread

- 4 Tbs active dry yeast shopping list
- 4 cups hot water shopping list
- 6 Tbs sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbs salt shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 10-12 cups of flour(white or wheat) shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in your mixers mixing bowl.
- Thoroughly knead on speed 3 (4-6 minutes)
- Let rise in bowl 10 minutes, punch down 4 to 5 times.
- Divide dough into 3-4 regular loaf pans.(I used 2 large pans and 3 small pans)
- Slash tops with sharp knife and brush with egg wash.
- Let rise doubled in size(this took about 15 min.)
- Bake 30 minutes at 400*.
- We ate an entire loaf for dinner..I gave the three small ones to friends at my sons baseball game.
- Enjoy..this is the best french bread I have ever had!!
