This is an age-old cure for constipation that I recently learned about. Change it up as you want.

Ginger is a great cure all - and people who have never eaten fresh ginger before, get ready to rock and roll... so to speak.... great post - thanks for sharing...

Well, i have severs constipation and what I have found that is a the best thing I have ever taken is a capsule called MagO7. It is a Oxygenating magnesium tablet. You can take i-5 capsules per day. It is distributed by Aerobic Life. It is safe according to my doctors and it really works. Aerobic Life has a website, so if you really need help, give these a try.

Excellent tip! One must remember to keep up with fiber in the diet and the yogurt helps things work better down there. I like the spice combination. Are there medicinal reasons for them or flavouring? I know fennel tea and ginger ale were favs of the older women in my family for curing tummy problems

My mom use to use this Old Time cure when we were children it worked very effectively.
Actually ginger is really good to settle a tummy to. I use to make soft ginger bread cookies but now "Little Debbie" makes these little miniature gingerbread men when my tummy get up set I will just nibble on one of them alone with some carbonated soda.
Have a great week-end!!!!!!

This is something I'm sure everybody needs from time to time. One question, wouldn't brown rice with all the fiber still intact be better than white rice, or is there something in the white rice that has a special purpose? I'm just the inquisitive type.

How interesting...and Michellem said it correctly - great for those "difficult times"! This is one to print out and keep in the medicine cabinet rather than the recipe box - thanks for the advice, auntybea!
