I found this in a recipe book that I have. I hope they still make the lemon velvet cake mix. Recipe doesn't give bake time. Bake time same as for regular cake mix 350 degrees (look on box for bake time.)

This isn't an alteration, per se- just wanted to say that I when I make any cake mix, I use this recipe. Same measures of water, and oil...flavor of instant pudding to match cake mix flavor...most people have a hard time believing it's a mix! =)

I have seen this Cake mix a few years back. The brand I saw was called Mama's I believe. I will have to look for it again!

I'm not sure if they have lemon-velvet cake mix, but I know DH has a nice lemon mix, which will of course work well here. DH mixes don't have the pudding already in the mix, so adding pudding to them works very well! Great post here.--Kn0x--
