Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients together except for 1/4 c cold water and cornstarch in a large sauce pan and heat on medium heat till sugar is dissolved and peanut butter is melted.
  • In separate container mix cold water and cornstarch, when cornstarch is completely dissolved add mixture to sauce pan.
  • Stir to desired thickness, more water may or may not be needed.
  • *You can also take out the peanut butter and then you're left with a yummy Teriyaki sauce!

This is different than I make it, so i'll give it a try when I have time. What i'm used to is with hoisin and coconut milk. I also like to use a little chunky peanut butter with the creamy. thanks for all the interesting posts

I love all the flavors in your peanut sauce, especially the spicy ones! Bookmarked to try soon, and thanks for sharing :) High 5

p.s. I use arrowroot in place of cornstarch in recipes. It doesn't leave a starchy flavor and thickens just the same. You may want to give it a try :)
