Eastern European Meat Balls

- 600 gr ground pork shopping list
- 400 gr ground beef shopping list
- 1 onion diced shopping list
- 2 slices of bread without crust moistened in water shopping list
- 1 large potato shredded small shopping list
- 1 large carrot shredded shopping list
- 2 tbsp diced parsley shopping list
- 2 tbsp diced dill shopping list
- 6 diced garlic cloves shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup oil (I use sunflower or Canola) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the above with the exception of flour. The moistened bread adds moisture to the mix and will give you a nice and soft inside texture. Actually, my mom adds 2 tablespoons of water to the whole mix.
- Make little balls with your hands and dust them with flour.
- Fry them in hot oil for 5-7 min on each side.
- Cool them on paper towel.
- You can serve them with a tomato sauce or as is.

I love these and your recipe. I have to omit the pork for dietary reasons but I know these will taste delicious. This is a great 5 fork recipe and many thanks for posting it.
