How to make it

  • Cook spinach according to package directions in unsalted water. Drain real well.
  • In a medium skillet, saute onions in 1/4butter. Add spinach, salt and pepper. Pour in milk. Add cheeses and Tabasco sauce. mix well. Before serving, Place in baking dish and top with Italian bread crumbs and drizzle with remaining butter. Bake at 375* for 10-15 minutes.
  • Freezes well.

    I made this tonight and it was extremely good! I had to double the salt and I added 4 more Tbls of heavy cream and 2 more Tbls of cream cheese because it would of been too dry...but the taste was perfect! I omitted the 2 dashes of Tabasco and the bread crumbs. I'll be making this again for my Easter dinner! Can't wait to serve it to my guests! Great recipe!
