Backpack Jerky

- beef cut into thin strips shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- cut the fat off the beef
- cut into thin strips
- coat with small amount of salt
- Dry in a dehydrator, or in the sun, or oven.
- When cool, pack into bags or other containers.
- Easy to make and carry, and you can do the same thing with other things like pork, chicken or turkey.
- You can also dry pieces of bacon for backpacking the same way.
