Ingredients

How to make it

  • Disolve yeast in water, add sugar, and allow to foam.
  • Combine flour, salt, salt, oil, and yeast mixture and knead into dough.
  • Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap or towel, allow to double in size.
  • Punch down, pinch off small pieces of dough, roll between lightly oiled palm into 1 inch balls, and place on floured towel.
  • Heat at least 2 inches of oil in a skillet until hot but not smoking. Drop in dough balls, fry on all sides, remove and drain on paper towels. Roll in or sprinkle with garlic salt.
  • Serve warm.,

    You are making me happy with your recipes lately! Bringing back some memories with this one, except we had it with cream cheese, not garlic. I do love garlic though, will try this soon, thanks!
