Lemon Sheet Cake

Another junk mail recipe... advertising some cooking magazine.... but a darn good recipe if you love lemon, which I do....
Ingredients
- 1 package lemon cake mix (18 1/4 oz) shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 can lemon pie filling (15 3/4 oz) shopping list
- 1 package cream cheese (3 oz), softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 2 cups confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix and eggs until well blended.
- Fold in pie filling.
- Spread into a greased 15 in x 10 in x 1 in baking pan.
- Bake at 350 for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack..
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and confectioners sugar until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Spread over cake.
- Store in refrigerator.
- 30 to 35 servings..
