Ingredients

How to make it

  • HEAT vegetable oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Add onion, bell pepper and garlic cook,
  • stirring frequently, for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.
  • Add turkey; cook until browned. Drain.
  • ADD tomatoes with juice, pumpkin, tomato sauce, beans, chiles, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Cover; cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.

    I have to try this with the pumpkin and ground turkey in it. Healthy!! I quite often make a huge pot of chili to serve at barbecues, especially if it's a large crowd, to help take care of those large appetites. Thanks for sharing.

    Great recipe. I've bookmarked it to try when the weather gets cold. I want to see if my resident pumpkin lovers (grandkids) can guess the what I put in it. Can you believe they want pumpkin pie for dessert on the 4th of July?
