Am I Blocked?

One of the members I follow continues to have recipes posted, but I can no longer see them! When I click a recipe, it just cycles back to the main page. I don't know if something is wrong, or if perhaps this person has blocked me??? I have never commented on any of the person's recipes although I have saved almost all of them, and I have "liked" many of them. So why would I be blocked??? If I am not blocked, maybe something is wrong? I don't know what to do, and hope for some guidance. Thank you.

I do believe this person has blocked you. I have also been blocked by someone for no reason! I don't have any suggestions for you..since you can't message this person to ask them why you are being blocked...I'm sure someone else will chime in and hopefully be of help to you:-)

Yep, you've been blocked. There isn't anything you can do about it either as you can't message them or leave them a message. I have a feeling I know who blocked you, too. If it is who I am thinking of, a lot of us have been blocked by this person. And for no reason.

I got blocked by "22566" in TX for nothing I did. Someone else made a statement on a page but I was no part of it yet I got blocked. I wanted to ask why, but like you said FA, you can't even send a message to ask, apologize or what-ever. It can be frustrating but there is nothing one can do so I don't spend time worrying about it.

I got blocked by that same member - after I made a very nice - nice! - comment on one of her recipes. So, I don't think there is a rhyme or reason with that particular poster. But, as you say, I've got lots bigger things to worry about than that!

Clbacon...that really is too bad..if she knew this maybe she would think twice about blocking EVERYONE...I think we need to ask her why....that's what this site is all about, sharing recipes, not blocking people for no reason.

Yes, NPMarie! It would be nice. Very good and very unique recipes......and some stunning artwork too! Well, it won't ruin my life or even my day, but I still have a sense of disappointment that a person would block me from viewing their recipes for no reason.

For myself - I am moving on, especially as I didn't do a thing to deserve the block. That member is totally missing the point of this site.

That person must have blocked me right after I joined here because I have never been able to look at any of her posted recipes, I have never commented or bookmarked anything of hers so I don't see any rhyme or reason to it. One day I was able to look at a couple recipes she posted then I realized that I wasn't logged in, so I figured she blocked me. Cie la vie.

Hi Beshy:) I think most of us are over her blocking us..but you could always ask someone who isn't blocked to send her a private message asking why..but, they would most certainly become blocked as well! I really can't explain why she is doing this!!!!
