Some Bad News... I Made It

Some bad news...

My Mom had a seizure yesterday! When she fell, she fractured her spine. She's in the hospital waiting for the doctor to fit her with a back brace. She'll probably be sent home by midweek. This is a huge setback for her. We're hoping she won't be in too much pain or have too much mobility problems. So I'll be taking care of her til she's better.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be around much for next week or 2...

My Mom is doing much better! She's still very tired from all the seizure meds, but we will be reducing those in the next week! She will be put back on the same seizure medicine that she was on during the past year! They worked back then, so I don't see why they shouldn't work now! I guess she will just have to be on them from now on! No more weening her off of them!

As far as her back goes, it looks like she didn't injure it! What the doctors saw in the x-ray was an old injury! So thats GREAT news!!!! We just have to pray that she doesn't have anymore seizures!

She will be staying with my sister until she's not feeling tired anymore...probably for a week or two. But she's already planning her Christmas menu! lol! I was with her today and she told me what she's planning to make! Me and my sister will make whatever my Mom can't make. She's such a trooper!

Thanks again for everything! I read everyones comments and it was very heartwarming! The prayers are truly working! =)
