Herb A Licious Tomato White Beans
I loved the Panko crusted pork chop! I am glad I got around to these. Its a pretty popular recipe and its never been shown in IMI. I had two chops and cut everything in half except I kept a lot of the bread crumbs in the measuring cup because it looked like a lot. I probably used half of the half. This is a great recipe I am certain I will make again.
The beans were pretty good. I don't know how the poster got so much sauce. As you can see from my bowl of beans, mine were not nearly as sauce-y. Managed to find the fresh herbs although the frost of the past few nights nearly wiped me out. I don't know if I oversalted or not but mine were kinda salty. Next time I wouldn't salt and see how they were. The beans did go very, very well with the pork.

I'd made that Pork Chop recipe of Corinne's a loonggggg time ago. Probably didn't even know about IMI at that time! :) Thanks for the reminder to put it on my short list. I'm pretty sure I have a couple of chops down in the freezer. It was yummy I do remember.
I'm tempted to try out the bean recipe. I have a bunch of white beans left from your Bean with Bacon Soup recipe that I could use. Indeed the sauce amounts look different in the pictures. Perhaps I'd just double the sauce part straight away. Envy you managing to scrounge some fresh herbs at this time of year. Mine are well buried beneath a lot of white stuff!
    Your pictures are great!

I was thinking that doubling the sauce ingredients was a good idea, too, Chuckie. Especially as, if you use canned stock, there's so much left. Yes, it was hard finding the herbs, that's for sure. I had to look pretty hard and way inside the plants. I got just enough.

I don't know how yall can get those kind of herbs (except the rosemary) to grow in this type of weather!!! The only thing I ever have alive in the winter is rosemary, chives and parsley....I saved those beans...they sound great and now I'm glad to know to double up on the sauce! Nice pictures!

I just got lucky, ml2c. Now that it froze again last night, I'm probably wiped out. I think that dried Italian herb blend would be nice in these.

Thanks so much, for trying and rating the pork chops, Frankieanne. It has to be one of my favorite ways to do them.

@ Mr. Piggy....I found a great panko by 4 C's (Chipotle Panko) that I used the last time I made these chops. I'm sure you'd love it.
