An alternative to a mojito, this mint-and-thyme-infused martini is topped with a splash of club soda -- and it's the perfect refresher on a warm summer night!

Ingredients
  • 15 mint leaves, plus mint sprig for garnish
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce simple sugar
  • Ice
  • 1 to 2 ounces club soda

Directions
  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves with the thyme and sugar. Add the vodka, lemon juice, simple sugar and ice and shake well. Strain into a glass with ice, top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

This really looks interesting because of the thyme. Thank you for the post!


The ingredient combo sounds tasty. I can imagine the thyme has an interesting influence on the mint. For me, a generous splash of club soda makes it a "put your feet up and relax" kind of drink.
