Crock pot Garlic cream cheese chicken Recipe

How to make it

  • Place all ingredients except the sour cream into a crock pot.
  • Cook on low heat 6-8 hours.
  • Add sour cream just prior to serving.
  • It is excellent over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. My kids love the mashed potatoes the best.

    Okay so made this last night and it was creamy and delicious! I only needed to cook mine about 5 hours but I did only use 4 breast. When I lifted the lid the smell was STRONG and I was a little worried but the taste was awesome! Served with mashed potatoes as suggested! Thanks Michelle!

    You're making me drool again, michelle - and it's not even a cookie picture!!!! I just printed this out so I remember to make it while it's still cool here...dont think I need to worry about hot weather around here yet - we can't even get to the grill yet! Love the pictures...looks like good ol' comfort food to me - just what I love~

    Hi Shel! I almost pasdsed this recipe up until I did a double-take at the italian seasoning ingredient! I take it the cream cheese doesn't break down and the soup is undiluted? I'm bookmarking this to make very soon!

    I made this today and it's excellent! I would need to double it next time I make it though, we went through it all very quickly and could have eaten more. It smelled wonderful while cooking. I made mashed potatoes with it.

    This was yummy! I cut the chicken into chunks before cooking and served it over rice. Very kid friendly this way.

    Strangely all three major stores in my area are sold out of cream of chicken, mushroom, and celery. Darn hick town! Had to settle for cream of broccoli. I'll let you know tonight how it turns out.
