Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook fries per package directions.(use a good brand to try and get the most large, roundish pieces possible! :)
  • Top each round with about 1T of chili, then sprinkle with shredded cheese, then a dollop of sour cream and top that with bacon pieces.
  • With the remaining bits of fries, just make a big ol' traditional pile of 'em and let your guests fight it out!

These are very tasty! I used green onions instead of sour cream. I just have to have onions on my chili. Thanks for another good one! Left a picture and put a thread in IMI 1/19/14

At the risk of sound provincial, I might point out that you could actually make your own waffle cut fires, using baseball spuds. The flavour combo is great. Nice and easy snacky stuff. RJ

I've made these before on rice crackers.... but waffle fries are made of potato. That's gluten-free as well. OOooooOOOoh.

I would use your recipe with tortilla chips, sort of like a chili nacho platter, I think I will try it. Thanks.
