Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large bowl, wisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. In another bowl, mash the banans well and add the milk, mix well, add the butter and eggs, mix well. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the banana concoction; mix until well blended.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Dec 6/15 Okay I am going to let you know that I did run out of baking powder which is why my pancakes did not rise as they should have so my fault. Yes the pancakes did taste good but I felt that they were missing some thing and there was only a light taste of banana. Yes I will be making again doing the following; I used maybe a to small of banana so will add 1 or 2 more. The other would be vanilla extract or a combination of vanilla and banana extract. I think that these minor changes will put this recipe over the top good.

Very fluffy cakes. Really sucks up the syrup. Makes six cakes. Don't be ascared to whisk these to create some gluten because they are fork fall apart tender.

This is the way to start Sunday Breakfast! Mr. SuchAFuss gulped them down. The batter made up really fluffy pancakes even with the bananas in it. I always worry with Bananas that the batter will get kind of "tough" but not with this recipe. It is simply perfect and an instant family favorite. Made up bunches - 4 cups easily. I'm sending 3 cups over the folks so they can enjoy this with us and I won't be tempted to over indulge. Pictures posted. Thanks Sunny for shining on the this recipe.

Delicious! I ate them without butter or syrup. This would make a great grab and go snack. Any ideas on how to freeze them?
