3 Cheese Mac Crock Pot Recipe

Ingredients

6 Tablespoons butter, cut into pieces

2 cups uncooked macaroni or pasta

15 ounces Ricotta cheese

1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

2 1/2 cups boiling water

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Spread butter pieces across bottom of slow cooker. Top with macaroni, Ricotta cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well. Pour boiling water over mixture, but DO NOT STIR. Cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

When recipe completes cooking, stir and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Made the recipe tonight. Regular recipe, did not double.

Not the creamy macaroni and cheese I'm used to. It has good flavor, just different tasting to me. Sort of a grainy taste. Probably the ricotta.

Think there was too much butter in the mix. If I get my pictures posted, you will see the melted butter puddling on the top of the mac and cheese. Probably could cut the butter in half and still have a good product.

It gets 4-forks and a do-over.
