Good base..i used white cheddar, asiago and a lil cream cheese...the cream cheese will help prevent the grainny texture ...threw in some cubed pork belly....it will make you want to smack your momma....good stuff..and yes you can double....happy eating...

pointsevendouble I thought I was the only one who noticed that. you are right, it has gret flavor! But I am not sure about the grainy texture. Let me know what you find out about the butter cuz I'm about ready to remake it!

    Does this recipe double?

Made the recipe tonight. Regular recipe, did not double.

Not the creamy macaroni and cheese I'm used to. It has good flavor, just different tasting to me. Sort of a grainy taste. Probably the ricotta.

Think there was too much butter in the mix. If I get my pictures posted, you will see the melted butter puddling on the top of the mac and cheese. Probably could cut the butter in half and still have a good product.

    It gets 4-forks and a do-over.

EDIT: Recipe link-up to the IMI group and this recipe made on 11/19/13. Recipe actually reviewed some 5 to 6 years ago. 3 Cheese Mac Crock Pot
