Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt butter in iron skillet or baking dish
  • In bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika
  • Coat chicken well with mixture
  • Place skin side down in butter
  • Arrange in the large black iron skillet*
  • Bake in 425 degree oven for 25 minutes
  • Turn chicken and bake 25 minutes longer
  • *NOTE: Can be baked in another pan, but the black iron is best! :)

    I made this tonight with chicken THIGHS, and cooked them in a large black iron skillet. Always made it with a whole cut up chicken. Needless to say, they were delicious, and I made gravy on top of the stove with some of the drippings! Never had done that before either. Fabulous recipe!
