How to make it

  • In a large skillet over med-high heat, cook garlic until golden.
  • Remove garlic and discard
  • In the garlic-oil drippings over med-high heat, cook the chicken and sausage a few pieces at a time until brown on all sides.
  • Spoon off all but 2 Tbsp of drippings
  • Return sausage and chicken to skillet
  • Stir in wine and mushrooms, heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 30 min. basting occasionally .
  • Remove meat and arrange on a warm platter.
  • In a cup, blend water and cornstarch until smooth. Gradually stir into hot liquid in skillet and cook until thickened.
  • Spoon sauce of meat.
  • Note - I like to garnish with some freshly chopped parsley
  • Serve with rice.
