Orange Pancakes

Light, Fluffy, The Citrus Aroma and Flavor you get from these pancakes is HEAVENLY...Makes regular pancakes seem dull and boring..
Ingredients
- 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups whole milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice shopping list
- zest from 3 large oranges, shopping list
- 4 lg. eggs, separated shopping list
- 3 tbsp. butter melted or oil shopping list
- 3 tbsp. sugar shopping list
- your favorite syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 3 ingredients together
- then in another bowl whisk milk, orange juice, orange zest, butter/oil and egg yolks
- mix together with dry ingredients to form a smooth batter
- next whisk egg whites gradually adding the sugar till stiff peaks form
- carefully fold whipped egg whites in to batter then cook as you would any other pancake top with your favorite syrup and butter enjoy.....
