Sliced Baked Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

4 medium potatoes,pared

1tsp.salt

4Tbs. melted butter

3Tbs.chopped parsley or chives

4Tbs grated cheddar cheese

2Tbs. parmesan cheese.

Directions

Cut potatoes in thin slices but not all the way thru. Put potatoes in a baking dish and fan them out slightly. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle each with the melted butter. Sprinkle with the herbs. Bake in a preheated 425 oven for about 50 mins. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with the cheeses.

Return to oven and bake another 10-15 mins until lightly browned and cheeses are melted and potaoes are soft.

I used to make these years ago and I'm not sure why I stopped. They're delicious and impressive-looking. I love that fanned presentation. Thanks for helping me find this recipe again...it's fanned potato time again for me! =)

Excellente! Made these last night everyone loved them. I used shredded cheddar on half and on the other half I used the new Select Bistro Shredded Cheese-Sun Dried Tomato Basil,with a mix of Monterey Jack and Mozarella. Definitely a keeper for us. Thanks
