Familys Favorite Mashed Potatoes

- 6 large Irish or russet potatoes, peeled and diced shopping list
- 4 sticks butter (lightly salted is OK) shopping list
- 4-6 cubes chicken bouillon shopping list
- 1 tsp granulated garlic shopping list
- 1-1½ cups buttermilk shopping list
- salt and black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Steam diced potatoes until fork tender.
- Add butter, bouillon, garlic, and 1 cup buttermilk. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
- Use a potato masher to mash and blend to desired consistency, using remaining buttermilk as necessary.
- Serve hot.
