I LOVE Morels. We have always just rolled them in flour and fried them. I have been hunting them longer than I can remember. My kids have all been going since we were packing them on our hips through the woods. I am so glad there are others that appreciate the hunt as well as eating them too:)

Delicious and simple. Couldn't ask for more. One question though - what's the fried garlic and onion for?

Oh man! this is very similar to how we prepare our morels...now I am dying to go mushroom hunting. And you're right - my daughter (mushrooms only...she's just 4!) and nieces always look forward to hunting deer, turkey AND mushrooms with their Daddies. how many good-for-you activities can make a teenage girl WANT to spend time w/ her parents? :-)

Morels have to be my favorite shroom. My mom used to take me hunting with her on my grandparent's land, which has long ago been sold. Man I miss those days....

Oh how I miss hunting and eating morels. They would be our main(and only) course. I've been told they can be found up here, but we don't have the same luck like we did down in the Midwest.
