EXOTIC COLESLAW

This yummy wholesome coleslaw can be served on its own as a light healthy meal .Made it over the weekend for a family get together ,we had a "braai" /barbecue :)
Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage shopping list
- 3-4 medium sized carrots shopping list
- 2-3 shallots / spring onions shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 1 red pepper shopping list
- 1 medium sized onion shopping list
- 1 red apple shopping list
- 1 green apple shopping list
- 1 pineapple shopping list
- 1 can whole kernels (drained) shopping list
- 1 cup screw noodles shopping list
- orange juice ,lemon juice,a handful raisins,almonds,and pecans shopping list
- SALAD DRESSING: shopping list
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup trim mayo shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 3 tsp vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp ground pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp mustard powder shopping list
- 1 TABS olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- shred cabbage ,grate 2 carrots ,and juillenne the other 2 carrots
- cube pineapple,peppers and apples into preffered sizes
- chop shallots ,add to above ingredients
- chop onion finely and squeeze out the juice ,add to above
- boil noodles in salted water until al dente ,drain
- add the cold noodles and kernels to above
- add orange juice and lemon juice to taste
- beat together all salad dressing ingredients ,and mix into the salad
- lastly add raisins,toasted almonds and pecans
- i promise you it is worth your while ! ! ! ! ! ! !
