Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated Sugar (can put a little less)
  • 3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Margarine or Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Vanilla Milk Chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir in vanilla milk chips and nuts.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.

I make an outside in cake. I put the icing inside the cake. I wish I could pass this recipe on but it's in my cookbook. I can tell you that it's really good and moist. I love cookies but usually over-cook them. I will try these.
