Inside Out Chocolate Chip Cookies

An amazingly delicious and pretty cookie. Betty Crocker's Best Of Baking.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar (can put a little less) shopping list
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla milk chips shopping list
- 1 cup chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in vanilla milk chips and nuts.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
- Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
