Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • one small onion, minced
  • one tablespoon minced garlic
  • one tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 chunky peanut butter
  • 1 cup water

Directions
  1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until just beginning to brown. Add the garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant -- about one minute.
  2. Add the lime juice soy sauce, and peanut butter, heat until it begins to summer.
  3. Add the water, reduce the heat to medium low, and mix well. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about five minutes.

This sauce I know tastes good. It reminds me of kari-kari as it is similar sauce wise. Did you ever try marinating with this sauce? seems like it might be good on grilled shrimp etc.
