Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
  • Add cold water and vinegar.
  • Stir in mayonaise, sour cream, mustard and onion, blending thoroughly.
  • Chill until thickened.
  • Fold in cabbage, pimiento, and parsley.
  • Pour into 4-cup mold or serving bowl.
  • Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
  • Unmold.

    Wow, I really like the sound of this! I am a vinegar fan and I like the more sour and savory slaws. I've been on a huge coleslaw kick lately too. I remember my mom making molded salads all the time (60s and 70s) and I never do. Might have to bring it back! :) What's old is new right?
