How to make it

  • Combine marinade ingredients and pour over chicken. In shallow pan,marinate chicken overnight,turning occasionally if pieces are not completely covered. Combine sauce ingredients and set aside,.
  • To serve,remove chicken from marinade. Place in a shallow pan and cover with sauce. Bake at 350 for 45 mins,turning once till chicken is done.

    Very tasty. I think next time I would skin the chicken so there wouldn't be any fat in the sauce. I was thinking some onions on the bottom of the pan would add a nice flavor, too. I added a picture and a thread in IMI 11/9/13

    Terrific flavor profile.
    I always marinate in gallon size plastic bags to assure even coverage.
    Did you know that traditional Hoisin is made with sweet potatoes??

    This sounds really easy and I can start it the night before and toss it into the oven when I get home. How wonderful!

    I bought a jar of hoisin sauce but didn't know how to use it. Now I do!!
