Great one,thanks for sharing:)

Hello....Jett...
YOU have 'got it right'!
"Train up a child in the way he should
go, and when he is old, he will not
depart from it"...This is the 'Answer' for parents regarding their children for today's world.
Thank-you for sharing this important message
with your 'recipe' on 'child-rearing'....
Blessings....mjcmcook...."5" FORKS....!

Amen to that thanks

Thanks a lot, Jett!! I'm going to get this tattooed on my arm!! Ok, not really, but it'll definitely go on my fridge!!

Thanks! time for a Bible drill....Draw Swords.....

Thanks Jett!

Hi Jett! This is great-thank you for sharing this!!

I dont have children yet but I am deffintley going to save this one for the future. Thanks for sharing a great receipe!

Oh those Proverbs! Great words to live by especially your fave Proverbs 3:5(+ to v8). What a great post!
Thanks.
Betty

Could be somewhat controversial. I agree with it all minus the "whip" part and sorry but I believe descipline with love and not a whip. My father abided by the spare the rod spoil the child and my brother and I were physically abused as a result of it. Sorry Jett, I believe in the Good Book and the man above but I gotta disagree on that method.

So good! I love proverbs and I couldn't agree more with mjcmcook. All discipline should be done in love....M

Ok to disagree but no need to ever give a 1. You got my 5 and another 5 for sharing. Thanks, my friend. I don't think you meant whip literally but as a cooking term.

As far as the "whip" part...I apologize that it was taken the wrong way. I truly didn't mean to whip a child. Please forgive me!

You have my High five for this unique Recipe For Children Raising
Michael

*wink* ^5!

Wonderful suggestions Jett! I love it and it deserves "5" forks for sure.

Hey jett i was raised in a christian home & at times i would have wished my dad had spared some rod!! if you know what i mean. now that i have children i think that my raising had brought forth a great outcome, though i didnt believe that would be the case when i was growing up.. in the begining of any childs life you shouldnt spare the rod, now that my children are older they are spared the rod.. not spoiled. but they have come to look, listen & learn as well as myself. children do not come with instructions but with this recipe it is an instruction that had always been there since the begining of mankind. if taken into mind this world would have & could have been a better place. thanks a mil. we need more peops like you here.. god bless you & yours. much love
