Hello....Jett...
YOU have 'got it right'!
"Train up a child in the way he should
go, and when he is old, he will not
depart from it"...This is the 'Answer' for parents regarding their children for today's world.
Thank-you for sharing this important message
with your 'recipe' on 'child-rearing'....
Blessings....mjcmcook...."5" FORKS....!

Oh those Proverbs! Great words to live by especially your fave Proverbs 3:5(+ to v8). What a great post!
Thanks.

Could be somewhat controversial. I agree with it all minus the "whip" part and sorry but I believe descipline with love and not a whip. My father abided by the spare the rod spoil the child and my brother and I were physically abused as a result of it. Sorry Jett, I believe in the Good Book and the man above but I gotta disagree on that method.

So good! I love proverbs and I couldn't agree more with mjcmcook. All discipline should be done in love....M

Ok to disagree but no need to ever give a 1. You got my 5 and another 5 for sharing. Thanks, my friend. I don't think you meant whip literally but as a cooking term.

As far as the "whip" part...I apologize that it was taken the wrong way. I truly didn't mean to whip a child. Please forgive me!
