Grannys Lemon Pie

- 2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/4 lb. butter shopping list
- juice of 2 lemons shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and cream into the sugar.
- Break one whole egg into this and stir, continue adding each additional egg one at a time stirring until all of the 4 eggs are used.
- Add lemon juice, stir enough to mix but do not beat.
- Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until the pie is set and brown.
- Watch pie and reduce heat as it must not bubble or boil.

This is truly wonderful!! I also make Lemon Curd like this, but in a double boiler on top of stove, stirring constantly. Divine, delicious. This is a winner! :)
