Grannys Lemon Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • Melt butter and cream into the sugar.
  • Break one whole egg into this and stir, continue adding each additional egg one at a time stirring until all of the 4 eggs are used.
  • Add lemon juice, stir enough to mix but do not beat.
  • Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until the pie is set and brown.
  • Watch pie and reduce heat as it must not bubble or boil.
