Yummy!

This sounds wonderful.... only I never have any over ripe bananas! I guess I have to hide some - as long as I don't forget where I hid them!

Oh yummy! The picture really looks great.....I can smell the banana goodness...

Oh! very very nice! applesauce works miracles in lowering fat in breads. thank you. i will try it soon.

Well once again...someone gives me a low mark..
WHY?? this is really beginning to hurt my feelings! :(

I know who it was...

Great fantastic bannanna bread thanks high5

So delicious, I love the idea of applesauce and raisins. It sounds so fragrant!

Folks, I made this last night and drizzled a
very quick caramel sauce I made, on top after
it was done..and OH MY!! yummy!! :)

Nothin' like the taste of banana bread. Looks awesome. Great recipe.

Lana..i am glad to see someone else besides me uses, over ripe nanners. grandma always said thats where the flavor is, and do not use lemon juice,to keep the nanner pudden from turning colors, she said, if it was any good,it won't last long enough to turn......country,solid, logic

This is definately a 5! I make this too, my recipe is almost the same I add chopped apples too. try it next time it is good. but I have to leave out the nuts. sometimes I put a couple of tablespoons of mini chocolate chips on top a little goes a long way and they don't add much fat. 5!

Love banana bread!! Sounds great, not sure why I didn't catch this one when you first posted it! Definitely a 5!!!

I love the banana bread I get at the bakery. I have tried several recipes at home but they just don't taste "banana" enough. This one is absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. A 5 is not a high enough rating...

Yummo. i wish i stumbled on this recipe. the addition of butter always makes things better, and the raisins, mm mm mmmm. this is a keeper!
