This is an incredibly reliable pie filling. I used it first to make Pork Chops With Apples And Stuffing . With a cup of the left over filling I added a sliced banana and created a topping for Apple Banana French Toast. I deviated on the spices by using a tsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice . I keep a bottle made up in my spice drawer for just such an occasion. I also substituted Splenda for Baking in lieu of white cane sugar. I will make this again and who knows I may even make a proper apple pie. I have attached two photos of recipes I made using this wonderful condiment.

Spices are a little on the weak side. Think I'll double them next time.

OMG Lana saving this treasure, it is apple picking time and I am taking advantage of the fresh locally grown apples now before the winter apples come in.
Another way to be frugal is to buy local produce fruits and vegetables.
