Homemade Thera - Flu Healing Drink With Prayer

We received this from some very dear family friends in 1993 when there was a very bad flu going around. It has a special prayer with it. I have to say it works! Our friends are Catholic, as am I, and the prayer is what I would consider very 'Catholic'. Ingredients
- 1/2 large garlic clove, crushed shopping list
- several slices peeled ginger root, 4 - 6 shopping list
- 1 TBSP. lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tsp. honey shopping list
- boiling water shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients into a cup; fill with boiling water and let steep 5 minutes. While steeping, say the following prayer:
- I trust in thee, O Heavenly Father, and offer thee the united hearts of Jesus and Mary. The triumphant bleeding wounds of Jesus and the tears of our loving heavenly mother, Mary. I give you my thoughts, words, deeds, actions, my cells, tissues, blood vessels, nerves, glands, bones, and organs with the united hearts of Jesus and Mary. Lord, thy Will be done. Amen. Jesus, Mary, I love thee. Save souls!
- Sip this and pray three times a day while symptoms are at their worst; once daily before bedtime when symptoms begin to subside. God bless you and I hope you get to feeling better soon!
