English Muffin Melts

This is the perfect snack or light meal (breakfast or lunch) for anyone who likes cheese. Toasted English muffins are topped with ham and a savory cheese mixture, then broiled to toasty perfection! Serves 2 - 4
Ingredients
- 2 English muffings, halved shopping list
- 2 slices ham, halved or 4 slices Canadian bacon shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- Dash of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat broiler to medium. Put the grated cheese in a bowl and pour the beaten egg over it.
- Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, season with a little salt and pepper, and mix well together.
- Toast the rolls on both sides, using a broiler or toaster.
- Place a piece of ham on each roll half and top with the cheese mix. Place them under the broiler until the cheese has melted and is golden.
