Ingredients
  • Ingredient amounts depend on the size of pizza you are making and personal choice of how much to pile on.
  • 1 PIZZA CRUST or recipe of your choice.
  • ¼ cup +/- CORNMEAL.
  • OIL or NON STICK SPRAY for pan.
  • ¾ +/- cup pizza SAUCE of your choice.
  • 1 clove GARLIC, minced.
  • 1-2 cups Monterey Jack OR Mozzarella CHEESE, grated.
  • 1 - 12 ounce can SPAM, diced into 1/2” cubes.
  • 5 +/- fresh MUSHROOMS, sliced, or you can (if you must) use a 4 oz can.
  • 1 cup +/- fresh TOMATOES, diced into 1/2” cubes.
  • ½ cup +/- ONION, thinly sliced and rings separated.
  • 1 cup +/- Red or Orange BELL PEPPER, thinly sliced into rings (or diced if you prefer).
  • 4-6 Roasted GREEN CHILES, diced coarsely (or a 7 oz. can).
  • 1 cup +/- VELVEETA loaf cheese, diced into 1/2” cubes.
  • 3 +/- GREEN ONIONS, chopped (use entire onion, don’t waste)
  • 1 teaspoon CHILE powder and ½ teaspoon ground CUMIN OR 1-2 teaspoons ITALIAN SPICE BLEND.

Directions
  1. Prep and cooking time should be adjusted for amount of toppings and pizza dough recipe you choose.
  2. Prepare dough as directed or use pre-made crust.
  3. Heat oven to 400 degrees F (or what recipe calls for).
  4. OIL or SPRAY pan.
  5. Sprinkle CORNMEAL on pan.
  6. Put DOUGH on pan and push to edges.
  7. Spread SAUCE on top of crust almost to edges.
  8. Add GARLIC.
  9. Add MONTEREY JACK cheese.
  10. Then (in no particular order), add SPAM, MUSHROOMS, TOMATOES, ONION, BELL PEPPER and CHILE PEPPERS.
  11. Finish topping with VELVEETA then GREEN ONION and finally the SPICES.
  12. Bake according to dough recipe directions. This should be about 25 minutes
  13. ~~~~~~~~~~
  14. Tip: Try not to pile toppings on too thick in the very middle of the pie. This will help assure the dough will cook in the center.
  15. Tip 2: Please note that I live at a high altitude and you may have to adjust for that.

Sounds Great, check out my pizzaburghers, I have had so many request for this recipe, my daughter was mad at me for posting it.Her and her family love this.

Okay Breezy...you know I made this on a double dog dare, cus it is a fair stretch from my "usual" type of food...BUT, made it, I did...and, I even tasted it! ;) hehehe..okay, here's what we've come up with...it's Gourmet Buzz Food! I can so see someone cookin' this up at 3am during, or after, a party. :) I made my own crust, but used a purchased sauce. The Spam didn't bother me at all...it's salty and greasy, but so is pepperoni, so no biggie, really, and the veggies, of course, were great(I did dice the pepper(used green cus it's what I had) and onion rather than leave them in rings)! Loved the kick from the chili peppers. I still just can't like Velveeta, though. Not even on pizza. It was funny cus I also don't care for tomato chunks on pizza, so I considered leaving them off...I got more than one "You're kidding, right?" kinda looks when I voiced that. With everything else so non Keni-like goin on, THAT'S what I almost left off? So, I left 'em. hehehe Everyone had a taste, and it was all eaten. I have NO doubt that for those who like Velveeta, this will be fantastic for them, even if they think they don't like Spam! :) You get the full 5 forks for creativity and for being a good sport in offering it up to me, of all people! Oh...and I took plenty of pics.

My kids will really enjoy this! Velveeta is their favourite cheese, makes perfect mac n'cheese. Love Keni's pictures!

Sounds like something we would love, minus the velveeta...I can't yike it, as my son said when he was little...spam I can deal with though!! Love the veggies and spices.

OH. MY. GOSH. You and my husband must have been brother and sister in another life. He LOVES both Spam and Velveeta, and his last meal would be pizza - it's his absolute favorite. Me on the other hand...I will grin-and-bear-it with Spam and Velveeta. This is one whack-a-doodle pizza. Even so, you've intrigued me, and I am going to make this for my hubby this weekend. I'm sure this would be more of an aphrodisiac for him than oysters and strawberries would be! *wink* Hahahaha! Thanks for sharing. - Natalie

Breezy, I made this over the weekend, and I was right! The hubby LOVED it! And, I will grudgingly admit, it was quite delicious...even with the Spam and Velveeta! I did mix the green chiles and garlic in with the pizza sauce for more even distribution, and I used a combo of green and roasted red pepper because that's what I had. For the spice sprinkle, I actually used a combo of the chili powder, cumin, and Italian seasoning. I posted a pic of my finished pie. I would add it to the 'I Made It' group, but Keni beat me to it! This was a fun recipe with suprising results. Mmmmmm...thanks! 5 forks! - Natalie

Could do without the veggies but other than that looks decilous.
