Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Onion Flakes
  • 1 Tsp Dried Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Dried Dill Weed
  • 1 Tsp Dried Chives
  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Kosher Salt or Sea Salt
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 4 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp White Wine

Directions
  1. Mix together softened cream cheese and white wine until well combined and smooth.
  2. Stir in dried herbs, spices and salt.
  3. Gently mix in cheese.
  4. Keep refrigerated until about 1/2 hour before serving. I recommend letting it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the spices re-hydrate and the flavors to come out.
  5. If you have any left-overs they can be safely refrigerated and stored for up to a week or two in an air-tight container.

This sounds really good, reeces. I'm bookmarking it for next time we have some people over. And BTW, welcome to the group!

Beware the person/people I stand next to, because I'm quite certain I wouldn't want to leave this alone - thank you so much for sharing your "research and discovery"! I will definitely make up a batch of the dry ingredients so I can easily throw the spread together - this is an excellent idea...great post. Thank you!

MY FAMILY WILL LOVE THIS. WE ARE ALL GARLIC LOVERS. GREAT POST. THANKS

The trick is to make sure everyone tastes it, so we all cancel each other's garlic breath out - heh. I don't think that will be a problem as this sounds great! Thank you for figuring this out and sharing your recipe... :) Vickie

Sounds absolutely delicious!

You have my 5 also, sounds great.

WoW!! Great sounding Cheese Spread, printed, will try soon.

Kind Regards

I love garlic and I love cheese spreads!!! The white wine sounds so interesting! I'm saving this one!

I like cheese everything. I will be sure to try this. Thanks.

Made this for the Recipe Swap and it was exactly what you'd expect with those ingredients! WOW! :) Strong, but wonderful flavors. I don't use dry minced garlic, so I just put in some fresh garlic, minced, but, other than that, I followed it. It was very good, and was great with both toasted bread and crackers. I preferred the bread, myself. It was a great addition to Playoff game food! Thanks, darlin' :)

This looks and sounds delicious! I like the spices here, and the addition of wine!

This sounds really great for a party I will have to make this one.
Five forks and a big happy smile :)
