Ingredients
  • Ribs Baby recipe from this website
  • One bottle of fine red wine, preferably Merlot or Cabernet
  • A flame stick. ( aka: a lighter here in Utah! )
  • Propane ( VER-R-R-Y important !!! )

Directions
  1. Prepare Ribs Baby recipe per instructions.
  2. Go outside and attempt to light grill.
  3. Attempt to light it again.
  4. Check to make sure you turned the tank on ( you know, righty-tighty / lefty-loosey? )
  5. Discover that the valve was already on.
  6. Oops. Pick up propane bottle and realize - it's empty !!!
  7. Use expletives if appropriate, but keep them clean '-)
  8. Open garage door.
  9. Pick up spare propane bottle, and discover that it is ALSO empty !
  10. Repeat step 7.
  11. Look at watch, and realize guests are arriving before you could run to the store for more gas.
  12. Sigh loudly, and pace for a minute or two, hoping for inspiration.....
  13. Grab portable grill used on Yellowstone trips and short jaunts to the woods, and fire THAT baby up !
  14. Cook the Ribs Baby recipe on your small grill, in batches, and feed your guests more wine so they lose track of how many trips outside you've made.....
  15. Plan on remodeling kitchen with new Jenn-Aire gas grill - really soon !
