How to make it

  • In a large pan on the stove, Wilt down onion, green onions, parsley with butter, about 4-7 minutes on medium-high temp.
  • Add garlic and brown slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in chicken broth, cooked chicken, sausage, and rice. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Cover for 1 hour, no peaking or stirring during this process.

    This recipe was sooo good! I had to make a few minor adjustments because I was missing the green onion and fresh parsley, so I used some dried parsley and a large onion. We are definitely having this one again! Makes great leftovers too. Thanks for the recipe!!!
