Angies Dirty Garlic Bread Recipe

How to make it

  • Preaheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place baguette slices on a cookie sheet.
  • In a small pot melt cream cheese & butter over medium heat. Once melted add in the garlic, parsley & mayo; stir in & allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Once melted spread the mixture evenly over the slices.
  • Cook in preheated oven for 8 minutes. During the last 5-7 minutes turn up the oven to 475 degrees (to achieve a brown top & crunchy edges).

    Made this for dinner last night. It was very flavorful. Very good unique recipe. The whole family raved about it. I just cut my french loaf in half length wise and spread it on the whole thing. I only used about 2/3 of the spread that way. It still wasn't toasted on top so I also broiled for a couple of minutes after baking. Very good! Thanks Adzell!

    Probably my favorite food is garlic bread. Never made one with cream cheese and mayo though...Sounds different and good! Are jumbo galic cloves the same as elephant garlic cloves?
