OH MY GOSH this sounds like the rub that we've been looking for. Do you use it for all sorts of meats? ~ beef, pork, chicken?

Ande,
I've used it on steaks, ribs, brisket and even small sirloin tips on the rotisserie. Also Pork Chops. Never tried it on chicken but maybe you can try that and then post the results. It is in fact a general purpose, low heat, sweet, tart, mild... well you get the idea.

I can't bbq at my apt. (fire codes and all), BUT my broiler kicks butt! I think this would be great on some NY strips. I've been looking for a good rub recipe.. the McCormick ones are a bit salty..
Thanks!

Hi Dugger, We used this rub for a couple of pork shoulders for pulled pork sandwiches. It is wonderful! I also used it to season the flour in my Oven Fried Green tomatoes and recommended your rub in the recipe that I posted. Definatly gets my 5!
